Alex, Kira, Mark & Alexandra. Commodore wagon + 4-bike rack. ~4hr drive via M31.
Short drive down to Bright (~1.5hrs). Stayed overnight in Albury Thursday.
Coffee, breakfast, get bikes sorted. Both cars park in Bright.
Sealed asphalt, gentle downhill following the Ovens River. Through Porepunkah, Eurobin, Ovens.
Check in, explore town, dinner together at the pub.
Myrtleford Post Office opens Sat 9am–12pm. Box up your camping gear and mail it home (~$20). Ride light for day 2!
After breakfast. Trail continues sealed and mostly flat through farmland.
Possible lunch stop. Side trail to Beechworth branches off here.
Cheese, wine, olives. Just off the trail between Milawa and Oxley.
Afternoon and evening to explore. Celebrate finishing the ride!
Wangaratta → Bright. Arrives 11:32am.
Brunch, wander, relax until the cars arrive.
Load up bikes. Say goodbyes.
Alex → Melbourne (~3.5hrs) · Remy → Canberra (~5.5hrs)
Public holiday. Legs up. You earned it.
